Branding, content & strategy
Examples of my freelance and in-house marketing work
VictorOps
I was the first marketing hire at VictorOps. During my time there, I helped to launch the product, started the blog and our social media presence, attended trade shows and created lots of content to appeal both to our technical end-user and to the stakeholders making buying decisions. I also produced thought leadership articles and handled PR outreach.
A few of the campaigns that I’m most proud of include:
The State of On-Call Report, an industry-wide survey that was used as a lead-gen asset, PR tool, and turned into a webinar.
Blameless Post-Mortems, a guide that I wrote for on-call teams providing resources and best practices. The guide was repurposed as a blog post series, a webinar and a speaking abstract.
Oblivious
I helped with a complete website rebuild, along with curating a weekly newsletter for a highly technical audience, writing blog posts, LinkedIn updates and event marketing.
Dispatched Divorcée
Laura brought me on to help with content creation, marketing strategy and support for a product launch. In addition to editorial direction, I assisted with in-person and virtual events.
Bet on Yourself
I consulted with Suzan on content strategy, created homepage copy and helped her clarify her company's branding.
YogiTriathlete
BJ and Jess asked me to rework all the copy on their site for a big relaunch. In addition to copywriting, I helped with content strategy and building a subscription service.
